A Plaintiff's Dream? The Unemployed Get Jury Duty Preference.

We tend to steer clear of more political discussions here at Of Interest, but every once in a while an idea comes along that we simply have to point out. According to Fred Clark, a well-known <a href="http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Slacktivist">blogger</a>, a <a href="http://www.patheos.com/blogs/slacktivist/2012/06/19/jury-duty-job-fairs-an-unworkable-idea-to-help-people-find-work/">solution</a> to both the unemployment problem and the boring nature of jury duty would be to give jury duty preference to the unemployed and combine jury duty with a job fair. As if finding a fair and impartial jury isn't hard enough...
