Alexandra Deplas works with both domestic and international insurers on a variety of fine art and specie matters and handles a variety of labor law, premises liability, and personal injury claims. Her work involves all phases of dispute resolution and litigation, and includes conducting legal research, drafting litigation-related documents, pleadings and pretrial motions, managing investigations and discovery, and assisting with and attending depositions, hearings and other judicial proceedings.
Prior to joining WCM, Alexandra gained work experience in both transactional and litigation-oriented settings. In 2019, she interned with the Rackets Bureau of the Nassau County District Attorneys Office, where she worked alongside Assistant District Attorneys prosecuting labor violations, the criminal possession of controlled substances, and counterfeit product distribution schemes. In 2020 and through her 3L year, Alexandra worked as a real estate law clerk, conducting due diligence and drafting complex commercial lending documents.
