Shaun is a litigator in the Florida office. She primarily handles catastrophic personal injury, premises liability, products liability, construction defect, vehicular accidents, and first- and third-party property claims. Shaun handles cases in both state and federal courts in the State of Florida from inception through trial.

Shaun obtained her Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law. While in law school, she was an editor for the Intercultural Human Rights Law Review, Mock Trial Team Competitor, International Moot Court Team Competitor, Intercultural Human Rights Moot Court Coordinator, the St. Thomas University Diversity Committee Student Representative, and Office of Admissions Ambassador. She was also a member of the Phi Delta Phi Spellman Inn Legal Honors Society as well as the Black Law Student Association, where she served in the roles of President, Vice President, and Pro Bono/Community Service Chair. Shaun completed over 200 hours of community service and served as a student liaison for the Miami Children’s Hospital Foundation, Ronald McDonald House, and Miami-Dade Legal Clinic. Shaun began her legal training as an intern for the Miami-Dade Public Defenders’ Office. The following year, she became a Certified Legal Intern at the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office, where she made her first appearance before the court and began prosecuting cases under the supervision of a licensed attorney.

After graduation, she continued her work for Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office as an Assistant State Attorney. Her time with Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office gave her the tools and training to solidify her place in the courtroom as she tried numerous cases while serving in her capacity as a felony division prosecutor, County Court Training Attorney, and DUI/Traffic Homicide Assistant Chief.
