There is no news to report on the status of the new FSMA regulations.  As this WAPO op-ed <a href="ww.washingtonpost.com/opinions/food-safety-law-is-being-delayed/2012/08/24/ab514ff4-ee1f-11e1-afd6-f55f84bc0c41_story.html">makes clear</a>, there is no "true" explanation for the delay, but politics seems to be the root cause.
