We have <a href="http://www.wcmlaw.com/blog/Default.aspx?g=posts&amp;t=823">previously commented</a> on the lack of a sufficient number of judges.  The problem continues as this <a href="http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2012/09/in-pennsylvania-the-human-costs-of-judicial-confirmation-delays/261862/">interesting article</a> from the Atlantic makes clear.  Barring a change in the political winds (which <a href="http://www.realclearpolitics.com/elections/">remain unclear in their direction</a>) the problem seems likely to persist.
