Professional Experience
Clay Brown litigates general liability actions, including personal injury and property damage cases, premises liability and construction defect claims, and contract disputes. His work includes all aspects of these cases from inception to resolution involving various forms of dispute resolution and litigation, including drafting pleadings and motions, attending depositions, performing legal research, attending hearings and mediations, and preparing for trial.
Clay has a background in civil litigation, previously clerking while in law school and eventually practicing for an insurance defense firm. During law school, He was selected to join the Entrepreneurship Clinic, which provided legal assistance to university students forming and operating businesses. Clay was also an executive member of the International Law Society, and a volunteer coach for West Louisville Soccer.
Before law school Clay worked in the thoroughbred racing industry with the New York Racing Association (NYRA).
