Professional Experience
Prior to joining WCM, Garrett clerked in the Superior Court of New Jersey – Civil Part for the Honorable Danielle J. Walcoff J.S.C., specializing in litigation in Civil Court. As a law clerk, he gained experience in areas, such as medical malpractice, construction defect, wrongful death actions, contract disputes, automobile negligence, premises liability, and professional liability.
During law school, Garrett was a moot court fellow for the Oxford International Intellectual Property Moot Court Competition, where he was selected to travel to Oxford University and argue a patent issue against students from around the world. He was also an extern to the Hon. Georgette Castner U.S.D.J. for two semesters and was a summer associate at Pfizer Inc. in New York City. He also served as the Managing Articles Editor for the Rutgers Journal of Law and Public Policy.
Prior to law school, Garrett attended Stockton University and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Holocaust and Genocide studies. He received the Alan F. Arcuri Pre-Law Fund award and thereafter became a mentor to the next winner. He also published “The Coronavirus’s Impact of Food Security in Atlantic County,” with the William J. Hughes Center for Public Policy.
